New Lab Equipment: Eye-Tracking Edition!

We’ve been working with Dr. Joseph Bardeen at Auburn University for some time in the realm of eye-tracking. At WSU, we’ve mostly analyzed the data (along with E-Prime wrangling), now we’re in the business of collecting data too! The GazePoint GP3 Eye Tracker has arrived, and we hope to start collecting pilot data with it soon this semester. The early plans are to integrate it with PyGaze or OpenGaze to keep everything as accessible as possible. And you can expect us to upload any code that comes out of that early research!

Right now, the plans are to incorporate the machine in undergraduate research and within-department collaboration.

More news as it comes, so stay tuned!
